Adobe Stock offers a text-to-image generation tool, powered by Adobe Firefly, that lets subscribers type a description and receive AI-generated images ready for commercial licensing. The feature launched for Individual and Teams subscribers in October 2023.
Details
Integrated directly into the Adobe Stock website, the Text to Image feature accepts natural-language text prompts as input and produces new images as output using the Adobe Firefly generative AI model. The Firefly model was trained on licensed Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content, and public domain content. Generating images consumes generative credits; downloading a generated image from the Stock Generate page separately consumes Adobe Stock subscription credits. Adobe Stock Individual, Teams, and Enterprise customers with sufficient Stock credits may obtain IP indemnification for downloaded Text to Image outputs, subject to plan terms; this does not apply to plans with unlimited downloads such as the Pro Edition.
