Play BY Live consists of three integrated AI components: a decision-making AI that plays the game and adapts strategy based on viewer comments, a group-conversation AI that processes audience chat and selects interesting comments to address on stream, and a voice synthesis AI that generates emotionally expressive speech. The channel Go Round Game launched a closed beta in March 2022 and moved to full operation in fall 2022. The same Play BY Live technology was also applied to an AI character named Mellow Niege in Bandai Namco's Gundam Metaverse platform.
