DeepPRIME performs two technically linked operations — denoising (removing erroneous pixel data caused by high camera sensitivity settings) and demosaicing (converting sensor color data into accurate full-color pixels) — simultaneously using a neural network trained on billions of images from DxO's camera and lens calibration laboratory. The current generation, DeepPRIME XD3, introduced in DxO PureRAW 6 (March 2026) and DxO PhotoLab 9.6 (March 2026), adds chromatic aberration correction as a third simultaneous task and supports both Bayer and X-Trans sensor cameras.
