The system chains multiple specialized sub-models to handle different parts of the segment logic. Marketers remain responsible for reviewing and confirming the generated segment before use. According to Klaviyo's engineering documentation, the system was built to help both novice users who struggled with the segment builder UI and experienced users who spent hours manually constructing complex segments.
