Magic Eraser uses a machine-learning model to analyze the area around the erased region and generate replacement pixels that blend visually with the surrounding content — a technique known as inpainting. The user draws over the unwanted element with a stylus or cursor; the tool processes the removal and fill immediately upon release. The brush size is adjustable. It is available in Linearity Curve on Mac and iPad.
