Mistral AI offers a 'Memories' feature inside Le Chat, launched in September 2025, which is opt-in and stores user preferences and past conversation context to deliver more personalized recommendations and responses across future sessions.

The Memories feature lets Le Chat retain information from previous conversations — such as user preferences, professional context, and recurring decisions — and surfaces that information in future interactions to personalize recommendations and responses. The feature is strictly opt-in, allows users to add, edit, or delete memory entries at any time, and saved memories are excluded from Mistral's model training datasets. Both Memories and MCP Connectors were made available to all Le Chat users on the free plan.
