Next Move was introduced in April 2025 alongside the Razr and Edge 2025 device families. It uses on-device screen analysis to interpret the visible content and surfaces a short list of contextually relevant suggestions powered by integrated AI partners including Perplexity. The feature is designed as a discovery tool to help users understand what AI can do in a given context. It is accessed by invoking the moto ai interface while any app is open.
