Palantir offers AIP Chatbot Studio (formerly AIP Agent Studio), a tool that lets enterprise customers build and deploy custom AI chatbots — called AIP Chatbots — that can be embedded in internal applications or exposed via external APIs to answer questions and automate tasks using an organization's own data.

AIP Chatbots are powered by large language models connected to a customer's Ontology data, documents, and custom tools. They can handle dynamic, context-aware conversations that trigger read and write operations in enterprise systems, for example answering questions about supply chain orders or retrieving information from a document library. Chatbots built in AIP Chatbot Studio can be deployed inside Palantir's platform or integrated into third-party applications through Palantir's platform APIs. AIP Chatbot Studio was released in beta in October 2024 as AIP Agent Studio; in December 2024, AIP Assist Agents, a specialized agent type configured in the same studio tool, became generally available within Palantir's Carbon workspace environment.
