Palantir deployed ImmigrationOS (also called the Immigration Lifecycle Operating System) for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under a $30 million contract awarded in April 2025, building a platform that aggregates data from multiple government databases to help ICE agents identify, track, and manage the deportation of noncitizens.

ImmigrationOS is built on top of Palantir's existing Investigative Case Management (ICM) system, which Palantir has operated for ICE since 2014. The system is designed to serve three functions: streamlining identification and apprehension of individuals prioritized for removal; tracking self-deportations with near real-time visibility; and managing deportation logistics. It pulls data from sources including passport records, Social Security files, IRS data, driver's license databases, and license plate readers. A prototype was scheduled for delivery to ICE by September 25, 2025, with the contract running through September 2027. Palantir separately operates an AI-Enhanced ICE Tip Processing program that uses generative AI to summarize, categorize, and translate incoming tips to ICE.
