Palantir deployed AIP Document Intelligence in February 2026, a tool that uses AI to automatically extract structured data from enterprise documents such as PDFs, invoices, maintenance manuals, and regulatory filings. It is enabled by default for all AIP-enrolled customers.

AIP Document Intelligence lets users upload collections of documents, test different extraction strategies — including traditional OCR and AI vision-language models — and then deploy a chosen strategy as an automated batch processing pipeline. The tool compares extraction quality, processing speed, and compute cost across strategies. Once deployed, the pipeline can process entire document collections, converting PDFs and images into structured, searchable data. Palantir states that workflows that previously took days can now complete in hours.
