ServiceMax AI uses generative AI (GenAI) to draw on the full documented history of a field asset stored in the ServiceMax platform, including equipment data, service history, and known resolutions. The AI Chat feature answers technician questions in natural language. AI Actions can automate manual tasks such as rescheduling appointments. The system also provides predictive maintenance guidance by analyzing asset history. PTC positioned the product as designed to address workforce knowledge challenges by giving technicians access to the equivalent of an expert with full service history access. ServiceMax AI was released to production on February 12, 2025.
