When a user sends a chat message that triggers Roblox's text filter, the new system uses AI to rephrase the message into acceptable language that preserves the user's original intent—for example, 'Hurry TF up!' is displayed as 'Hurry up!' All users in the chat are notified when a message has been rephrased. The feature was developed in consultation with Roblox's Teen Council and is restricted to age-verified users in similar age cohorts communicating through in-experience chat.
