Runway offers Workflows, a node-based tool that lets users chain together multiple AI models and processing steps — including video generation, audio generation, video upscaling, and image editing — into reusable automated pipelines that can be converted into shareable apps.

Workflows allow users to build custom multi-step pipelines by connecting nodes representing different AI capabilities (e.g., text-to-video, audio generation, video upscaling). Users can save these pipelines as reusable configurations or publish them as Apps to share within their workspace. Audio nodes and video upscaling nodes were added in November 2024. This feature is part of the general Runway platform and available to all paid users.
