The system generates approximately 13 million new outfit combinations every day.

OCM considers real-time items in Stitch Fix's inventory along with each client's preferences and past purchases to compile personalized outfit suggestions. The model is derived from training on millions of human stylist-created outfits. Stitch Fix displays approximately 43 million outfit combinations to clients daily across shopping feeds, emails, and ads. Stitch Fix notes that OCM's approach 'diverges from today's conventional definition of generative AI' but exhibits similarities to large language model approaches.
