Wayfair offers Muse, a generative AI tool that creates photorealistic images of decorated rooms based on shoppers' style descriptions, replacing the earlier Decorify pilot. Shoppers can type in a style preference — such as 'coastal dining room' — and browse an unlimited feed of AI-generated room scenes linked to shoppable Wayfair products.

Announced February 11, 2025, Muse replaced Decorify (launched 2023), which required users to upload a room photo and select from a limited set of preset styles. Muse uses a mix of generative AI models to produce an effectively limitless catalog of styled room scenes. Users can save images, upload their own room photos to see styles applied to their space, and shop recommended products directly from each generated image. The Discover tab in the Wayfair app was subsequently updated to integrate Muse's learnings, creating a personalized, infinite-scroll feed of AI-generated shoppable imagery.
