Following its May 2025 acquisition of UK-based Pledge Earth Technologies, Blue Yonder integrated automated carbon emissions tracking into its supply chain platform, allowing enterprise customers to measure and report their own shipping emissions and those of their logistics partners across all transport modes.

Details

Pledge's capabilities — now integrated into the Blue Yonder platform — automate the collection and exchange of shipment data from logistics suppliers to calculate accredited and traceable carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions across all transport modes including air, inland (truck, rail, barge), and sea. The emissions reporting conforms to the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) framework and is aligned with ISO 14083 standards, supporting customers' Scope 3 emissions reporting requirements under regulations such as CSRD. Blue Yonder customers can extend their existing Blue Yonder solutions to include this capability. The acquisition was announced at ICON 2025 in May 2025.
