ElevenLabs offers an AI Dubbing tool that automatically translates and re-voices audio and video content in up to 29 languages via the web interface and 32 languages via the API, while preserving the original speakers' voices, emotions, and timing. The tool launched in October 2023.

The dubbing pipeline takes video or audio files as input and runs a multi-step automated process: it removes background noise, identifies and differentiates speakers, transcribes speech in the source language, translates the text, and synthesizes new speech in the target language using a clone of each original speaker's voice. Users can manually edit transcripts and translations in the Dubbing Studio interface before final audio generation. ElevenLabs also offers a human-verified service called Productions, where expert linguists review and edit AI-generated dubs.
