Forbes' Czech edition built two AI tools with support from Google's News Initiative: one that suggests articles to readers based on what they have been reading, and another that helps the editorial team by automatically analyzing traffic data and suggesting headline ideas. Both tools are designed to help a small team publish more effectively — not to replace journalists.

The AI recommendation tool analyzes reader behavior to suggest similar articles and increased page views per visit by approximately 20–25% in its first month of operation. The AI editorial tool automates the processing of analytics data and generates headline suggestions based on patterns from high-performing past articles. It supports approximately 40 journalists publishing around 12 articles per day. Forbes.CZ Chief Product Officer Andrea Steiner noted that the AI recommendation system outperformed editors' own manual content picks in terms of engagement metrics. The tools were built using Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Dataset Search, and TensorFlow — an open-source machine learning library.
