Watsonx Orchestrate connects to over 700 enterprise systems and offers pre-built agents for business functions including HR (onboarding, time-off requests, payslip retrieval), sales (lead qualification, CRM updates), and procurement (supplier tracking, contract renewal). Businesses can create custom agents using a no-code studio or a developer toolkit. IBM uses the product internally: its AskHR deployment reportedly handles over 10 million employee interactions annually. The platform supports multi-agent coordination, where a supervisor agent routes tasks among specialized sub-agents.
