Krafton deployed an internal AI system called KRIS (Krafton Intelligence System) that connects dispersed company data into a unified database and provides personalized answers to employee questions. Krafton later open-sourced an external version of this system called Terminus KIRA in February 2026.

KRIS acts as an intelligent assistant for Krafton employees, ingesting internal documentation and data to answer work-related queries quickly and accurately. The externalized version, Terminus KIRA (Krafton Intelligence Rookie Agent), is a desktop application that assists with coding tasks and terminal-based workflows using a self-critique prompting mechanism to check its own outputs before presenting them to users. It integrates with tools like Slack, Outlook, Confluence, and Jira. KIRA uses Anthropic's Claude API as its underlying language model and stores all data locally on the user's machine.
