Pika deployed a social AI video iOS app in August 2025 that lets users transform selfies into short AI-generated videos, which can then be shared in an integrated social feed. The app was initially available via invite code on iOS only.

The Pika Social AI Video app (available on the Apple App Store under developer Mellis, Inc.) accepts user selfies as input and generates short AI videos with native audio, hyper-realistic facial expressions, and HD quality. The app includes features for remixing other users' videos, applying Pikaffects and Pikaswaps, and AI lipsync. It is positioned as a social platform where users share creations in a community feed. As of early 2026, the app was iOS-only, with Android described as in development. A full general-availability rollout on iOS was confirmed by October 2025.
