Raytheon, an RTX business, announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2025 to deploy AI and machine learning services for satellite data processing and space mission control operations. The effort targets national security and commercial space customers.

The Raytheon-AWS collaboration integrates AWS AI/ML services—including Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock—into Raytheon's mission data processing pipelines and constellation command-and-control systems. Inputs include satellite telemetry and mission data collected via Raytheon's space systems; outputs include faster processed intelligence, improved mission reporting, and data-driven command-and-control decisions for satellite operators. The collaboration also includes deploying AWS Outpost edge infrastructure for on-premises mission management. RTX confirmed active programs are already running under this framework for both government and commercial customers as of December 2025.
