Schneider Electric announced in May 2025 a multi-year initiative to build an 'agentic AI' ecosystem for energy and sustainability management that would embed autonomous AI agents into client workflows to automate data analysis, emissions tracking, and sustainability decision support. This initiative is announced and in development, not yet fully deployed.

At the core of the initiative is agentic AI—software agents designed to act autonomously or collaboratively with human consultants to anticipate needs and adapt in real time. The new platform, Resource Advisor+, will incorporate these agents alongside existing generative AI capabilities. One confirmed agent, the Emissions Measurement Data Transformation Agent, already transforms unstructured client emissions data into a format usable by a carbon calculator, reportedly cutting a task that previously took hours or days down to minutes. The initiative builds on and extends the existing EcoStruxure Resource Advisor product and integrates capabilities from Schneider's acquisition of sustainability firm EcoAct.
