The Restoration tool receives a damaged, faded, or aged photograph as input and outputs an AI-restored version with scratches removed, faded tones recovered, and optional colorization applied. It is designed for use on scanned film prints or old digital scans. The feature is available to Ecosystem Pass holders, 2025/2026 Upgrade Pass holders, and Cross-Perpetual and Max-Perpetual license holders. Skylum's marketing notes that the tool enables hobbyists to preserve family memories and professionals to offer archival restoration services.
