Spline is a participant in Google's AI Futures Fund, which invests in and collaborates with startups building AI products using Google DeepMind models. By June 2025, Google's official blog confirmed that Spline had been running Gemini 2.5 in production. Spline's documentation shows that Hana subsequently launched AI-powered image generation features using third-party models including Flux, NanoBanana, and Seedream, though it is not confirmed whether the Gemini 2.5 interactive scene generation capability became generally available to all users.
