Announced June 24, 2025, as part of a broader suite of AI tools for 1.5 million U.S. store associates, the task management tool is powered by Walmart's proprietary Element machine learning platform. The same June 2025 announcement included two additional tools: a real-time translation assistant supporting 44 languages (both text and spoken), and an AI-powered benefits help desk that cut the average time to answer employee benefits questions in half by giving associates direct AI-assisted access to Walmart's 300-page benefits guide. All three tools are built for use in the Me@Walmart associate app.
