Blue Yonder's Robotics Hub is a software platform that connects robots from multiple different vendors into a single management system linked to the warehouse management software — letting AI decide in real time which tasks should go to robots and which should go to human workers. First implemented with DHL Supply Chain around 2020, it achieved a 60% reduction in the time needed to integrate new robotic systems.

The Robotics Hub runs on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and communicates with Blue Yonder's Warehouse Management Solution in real time. When a robotic system fails or slows down, the platform immediately detects the disruption and reassigns tasks to other resources — either other robots or human workers — without requiring manual intervention. It supports more than a dozen leading robotics vendors as of 2025, making it vendor-neutral. The platform was developed in partnership with DHL Supply Chain and Microsoft; DHL's chief information officer stated that the goal was not to replace employees but to assign more engaging and skilled tasks to the human workforce while robots handle repetitive work.
