Background Remover uses AI to automatically detect the foreground subject and remove the background in one click, available to Canva Pro users. Magic Eraser lets users brush over unwanted objects and the AI fills in the surrounding area seamlessly (Pro). Magic Edit accepts a brush selection and text prompt to add or replace objects in a photo using generative AI (Pro). The Background Generator produces a new AI-generated background from a text prompt, accounting for lighting and composition. These tools are integrated directly into the Canva photo editor.
