Canva offers Magic Insights and Magic Formulas within Canva Sheets, AI tools that automatically surface trends and patterns from spreadsheet data and generate spreadsheet formulas from plain-language questions, available to all Canva users with credits.

Canva Sheets launched at Canva Create 2025 in May 2025. Magic Insights scans a highlighted dataset and produces key takeaways, trend summaries, and recommended chart types in seconds. Magic Formulas accepts a plain-language question and generates the appropriate spreadsheet formula and its result, using a machine learning model. Magic Charts converts raw data into interactive visualizations automatically, suggesting the best chart type for a given dataset. These tools use AI credits; free users receive 10 credits for Magic Insights and limited access to Magic Formulas.
