Introduced in Capture One 16.8 Beta (May 6, 2026), Assisted Review is described in Capture One's release notes as designed to complement, not replace, the photographer's own selection process. When activated, the AI analyzes selected images and applies tags for detected technical issues. These tags can be filtered in the image browser, used as criteria for Smart Albums, and combined with star ratings and color tags. The tool is positioned in the Library tool tab. Capture One is actively collecting user feedback to refine the AI model.
