Circle offers a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that allows administrators to manage and query their Circle community through external AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. The feature is available to administrators on Business-tier plans and above and launched in April 2026.

Details

The Circle MCP is built on top of Circle's Admin API and allows an external large language model client to query live community data — members, spaces, events, engagement — and take administrative actions with approval. Administrators connect the MCP by adding Circle as a connector in their chosen AI tool and pasting a Circle MCP URL. Each connection supports one community at a time, and all actions are performed on behalf of the authorizing admin. MCP usage counts toward Admin API credit limits.
