Figma offers FigJam AI, a set of AI tools within its collaborative whiteboard product FigJam that generates meeting templates and diagrams from text prompts, sorts sticky notes into thematic groups, and summarizes brainstorm content. These features launched in November 2023.

FigJam AI generates meeting boards, flow charts, Gantt charts, org charts, and mind maps from natural language prompts. It can sort a large set of sticky notes into thematic categories and produce a text summary of brainstorm content. The tool uses the OpenAI API for language tasks; Figma's agreement with OpenAI specifies that data is not used for model training. FigJam AI is available to paid-plan users with a Full, Dev, or Collab seat. Figma has since expanded FigJam AI via its MCP server, adding the ability for AI coding agents to generate architecture diagrams and entity-relationship diagrams directly in FigJam boards; these capabilities are live and available in MCP-supported clients.
