Figma deployed Figma Make, a prompt-to-app tool that lets designers and non-technical users generate interactive, high-fidelity app prototypes from natural language descriptions. The tool became generally available on July 24, 2025, though publishing of Make files remained in beta at that time, with full publishing and sharing capabilities varying by plan and seat type.

Figma Make was introduced at Config 2025 in May 2025 and moved out of beta on July 24, 2025. Users type a description of an app or interface, and the AI generates a working, interactive prototype with React-based code underneath. The tool accepts prompts, existing Figma design files, or sketches as input. Full-seat paid users can publish or share their Make files; starter plan users can create files in drafts and share up to three. A backend database integration with Supabase is also available for richer prototypes.
