Neither the on-screen presenter nor the narration features a real person; both are generated by Synthesia's AI avatar and voice synthesis technology.

The video series is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Haitian Creole, Chinese (Simplified), Vietnamese, and Cape Verde Creole, with more languages noted as coming soon on the official DTA page. The videos serve a formal compliance function within DTA's caseworker process: BEACON system documentation instructs staff to either read a Work Rules Script aloud during client interviews or refer clients to mass.gov/SNAPWorkRules to watch the video in their preferred language. DTA's official mailed Consolidated Notice directs clients to the same URL. The English-language video carries an on-screen disclosure stating that the visuals and voice were generated using AI technology provided by Synthesia and that the video does not feature real individuals.
