ModerationNew evidence: Saifr Expands Tech Capabilities by Acquiring New Solution to Help Financial Services Navigate Rising Industry Risks
Evidence AddedView practice →Fidelity Investments offers Saifr, an AI-powered regulatory technology tool incubated in Fidelity Labs, to financial institutions for reviewing marketing and public communications for potential compliance violations.
Saifr uses proprietary natural language processing models trained on tens of millions of compliance-reviewed records to scan written content, social media posts, audio, and video assets for non-compliant language, missing disclosures, and regulatory risks under rules such as FINRA 2210. The tool provides risk scoring, suggests alternative compliant phrasing, and supports workflow collaboration between marketing and compliance teams. Originally built as an internal Fidelity compliance tool, it was launched externally as a standalone RegTech business in January 2022 and has since expanded to include adverse media screening via the 2024 acquisition of Giant Oak's GOST platform.
