Shopify offers an AI Store Builder that lets merchants generate a complete, ready-to-launch online storefront — including design, layout, and written content — by entering a short text description of their brand.

Introduced as part of the Summer '25 Edition in May 2025, the AI Store Builder accepts a brief text prompt describing a merchant's brand or product category. The AI then generates a themed storefront with appropriate design, colors, and copy. Merchants can further customize the result in Shopify's standard theme editor. The feature is available even before a merchant creates a Shopify account, making it part of the onboarding flow. It is included at no extra cost for Shopify merchants.
