Unity AI Generators replaced the retired Unity Muse suite (retired October 1, 2025) and use a mix of Unity's own first-party models and third-party partner models — including LoRAs from Scenario and Layer AI, which are trained on Stable Diffusion and Flux foundation models. All generated assets are automatically tagged with metadata indicating they were AI-generated. The Generators run in Unity Cloud, not locally. Future planned additions include 3D mesh generation and skybox generation, tentatively slated for a Unity 7.x release cycle.
