Unity AI Generators replaced the retired Unity Muse suite (retired October 1, 2025) and use a mix of Unity's own first-party models and third-party partner models, including LoRAs from Scenario and Layer AI trained on Stable Diffusion and Flux foundation models. All generated assets are automatically tagged with 'UnityAI' metadata (EXIF data), making them searchable and manageable within the project. The Generators run in Unity Cloud, not locally. A 3D Object Generator, which produces static mesh prefabs from text prompts or reference images using the Hunyuan 3D model, was added to the Generators package and is documented in the official Unity 6.3 release. As of November 2025, the video-to-motion animation model was discontinued after a partner deprecated that service; Unity has stated it is evaluating replacement partners.

Unity offers the Inference Engine (formerly Unity Sentis), a tool that lets game developers embed and run custom AI models directly on a player's device — inside any game or app built with Unity — without requiring an internet connection.
Originally launched as Unity Sentis in open beta in November 2023, the product was renamed the Unity Inference Engine when Unity AI launched with Unity 6.2 in August 2025. It is a neural network inference library that allows developers to import trained AI models in ONNX format and run them locally in real-time on any platform Unity supports, using the device's CPU or GPU. Typical uses include AI-driven character behavior, real-time object detection, procedural animation, and other gameplay features that benefit from on-device computation. Unlike the Unity AI Assistant and Generators, Inference Engine runs locally and does not consume Unity Points (i.e., it remains free).
Unity deployed Vector, a self-learning AI platform that powers Unity Ads by analyzing player behavior data to match mobile game ads with players most likely to install and spend, available to all Unity Ads advertisers as of May 2025.
Vector is Unity's core user acquisition AI platform, described as the successor to Unity's earlier Audience Pinpointer system. It ingests data from across Unity's ecosystem — including in-game behavior, session duration, level completions, device signals, and retention indicators — to predict which players are most likely to engage with and spend in specific games. The platform uses a self-learning adaptive model that continuously updates based on new campaign data. Vector became generally available to all Unity advertisers in May 2025, roughly three months ahead of schedule. Unity reported that all Android and iOS ad traffic on its network now runs through Vector.
