Webflow deployed App Gen, an AI-powered tool that generates full-stack web applications from a plain-language prompt directly inside the Webflow platform. It launched in public beta on November 12, 2025, and is available to all site plan users at no cost during the beta period.

App Gen accepts a user's natural-language prompt and, referencing the site's existing design system, CMS collections, and components, generates production-grade web application code (built on React). The resulting app is deployable to Webflow Cloud with a single click. Example use cases confirmed by Webflow include pricing calculators, event calendars, job boards, and location finders. The feature is free during public beta; post-beta, usage will require Webflow AI credits. Web app building via the AI Assistant was confirmed as still in public beta as of March 2026.
