Krafton offers players in inZOI the ability to generate custom clothing textures from text prompts and convert 2D images into 3D in-game objects using on-device generative AI tools. These features have been available since inZOI's early access launch in March 2025.
Details
The texture generation system (called 'AI Texture') is trained on approximately 20 million commercially-licensed images using MOSAICML's Common Canvas methodology. The '3D Printer' feature converts uploaded 2D images into usable 3D furniture or accessory assets within the game using AI trained on roughly 46,000 high-quality 3D models. Krafton confirmed on its Steam page and in public disclosures that all training data consists of copyright-cleared material. A third feature, Video-to-Motion (V2M), allows players to upload video footage to generate custom character animations.

Other practices by Krafton
OtherKrafton integrated an on-device small language model into its life simulation game inZOI to power 'Smart Zoi' characters — AI-driven non-player characters that form their own thoughts, adjust their behavior based on experiences, and interact with players and each other in lifelike ways. The feature was included as an experimental option at inZOI's early access launch in March 2025.OtherKrafton tested an AI teammate called 'PUBG Ally' inside PUBG: Battlegrounds, which players can squad up with in Arcade Mode; the AI communicates by voice, adapts strategies in real time, fetches items, and assists with revives. Public playtesting in PUBG: Battlegrounds Arcade Mode began in early 2026.ModerationKrafton uses an AI system that automatically detects players using cheats in its games, as confirmed on the Krafton AI official use-cases page. The system is described as running within Krafton's live game operations.
