Figma offers Visual Search and AI-enhanced Asset Search in Figma Design, which help users find existing design components and files using either an image or a natural-language description rather than exact keyword matches. These features launched at Config 2024.

Visual Search lets users upload an image, screenshot, or sketch and finds visually similar designs across the user's team files. AI-enhanced Asset Search uses natural language processing so users can discover components even when their search terms do not match the layer names. Figma states these models were fine-tuned using images from public, free Figma Community files. Both features are available on paid plans in Figma Design.
