Prudential Financial integrated EvolutionIQ's machine learning platform into its disability claims process in September 2023 to help claims examiners prioritize and manage short- and long-term disability cases more effectively.

The EvolutionIQ platform uses proprietary machine learning to ingest and analyze structured and unstructured claims data — including medical reports, interview notes, and historical records — to surface prioritized guidance for Prudential's disability claims examiners. The AI directs examiners toward claims where their expertise has the greatest impact, helping to expedite the process and reduce manual work. A multi-year license agreement covers all of EvolutionIQ's Group disability products. The integration augments, rather than replaces, the work of human claims examiners, who remain central to decision-making.
