Squarespace offers an AI writing tool, built into its website editor, that generates or rewrites text for web pages, product descriptions, blog posts, video summaries, SEO descriptions, proposals, and course content based on user prompts.

The AI text generation feature is part of the Design Intelligence suite and is accessible from the text toolbar inside the Squarespace editor. Users can enter a prompt or highlight existing text and ask the AI to generate, simplify, shorten, or lengthen it. The tool uses the user's saved Brand Identity, a description of the business and preferred tone, to keep generated copy consistent with the brand. Squarespace has partnered with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google to power the AI; users are advised to review and edit all generated content before publishing.
