Capture One offers the Match Look tool, which uses AI to analyze a reference photo and automatically replicate its color grade and tonal look on another image, giving photographers a quick starting point for consistent editing.

Details

Introduced in Capture One 16.5.0 (October 23, 2024), Match Look accepts a reference image — which can be an existing edited photo, a film still, or a mood board image — and uses AI to analyze its tonal and color characteristics. It then automatically applies a series of Capture One's own editing tool adjustments (such as white balance, exposure, curves, and color balance) to the target image. The tool displays which adjustments were made, keeping the process transparent. It works on RAW files and does not use generative AI to alter image content.
