Native Instruments offers iZotope RX, an audio repair toolkit that uses machine learning to automatically identify and remove audio problems — such as background noise, clicks, hums, headphone bleed, and breath sounds — from recorded audio files.

RX 11 (released May 2024) and RX 12 (released April 2025) use machine learning throughout their module ecosystem. The Repair Assistant listens to an audio file, categorizes it (voice, tonal instruments, percussion, etc.), and suggests specific repair settings at light, medium, or aggressive intensity. Individual modules such as De-bleed (removes headphone bleed without a reference track), Breath Control (detects and removes breath sounds), Music Rebalance (separates stems from a finished mix using neural networks), and De-rustle (removes lavalier microphone clothing noise) each use dedicated machine learning models.
