iZotope offers Ozone 12, a mastering plugin suite that uses an AI-powered Master Assistant to analyze an audio track and automatically generate a custom chain of mastering processing settings — including EQ, dynamics, loudness, and width — as a starting point for the user.

Ozone's Master Assistant, first introduced in Ozone 8 (2017) and most recently updated in Ozone 12 (released September 3, 2025), listens to a user's audio, analyzes it, and recommends a tailored signal chain. In Ozone 12, the Master Assistant gained a 'Custom Flow' mode allowing users to select genre profiles, set LUFS targets, choose specific processing modules, and define intensity before the AI builds the chain. New machine learning-powered modules in Ozone 12 include Bass Control (low-end shaping), the Unlimiter (restoring dynamics from over-compressed audio), and Stem EQ (applying EQ to separated vocals, bass, drums, and instruments within a stereo file). All three editions (Elements, Standard, Advanced) include the AI-powered Master Assistant.
