iZotope offers RX 12, an audio repair toolkit that uses machine learning to automatically identify and remove audio problems — such as background noise, clicks, hums, headphone bleed, breath sounds, and unwanted reverb — from recorded audio files.

RX 12 (released April 29, 2026) introduced new machine learning modules including Scene Rebalance (intelligently separates a film or TV scene's dialogue, music, and effects from a single stereo render for independent re-leveling) and Stems View (a track-based workflow for applying RX tools to individual isolated stems). Existing modules received updated neural networks: De-bleed was rebuilt to remove headphone bleed or instrument cross-bleed without requiring a reference track; Breath Control was rebuilt for higher-accuracy breath detection and removal; Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate received upgraded neural nets and new real-time plugin versions. The Repair Assistant (included in all editions) listens to audio, categorizes it, and suggests repair settings at light, medium, or aggressive intensity.
