Nectar 4 (released September 2023) includes a redesigned Vocal Assistant powered by machine learning. The assistant listens to a vocal track, analyzes dynamics, pitch register (detecting whether the vocal is sung, rapped, or spoken), and tonal characteristics, then automatically configures modules including EQ, compression, de-essing, and reverb. In Nectar 4, the Vocal Assistant also integrates with the Audiolens reference app, allowing users to import a reference track and have the AI match the tone and EQ of that vocal. Available in Elements, Standard, and Advanced editions, with the Advanced edition adding an Auto-Level module for intelligent dynamics leveling before the processing chain.

Existing modules received updated neural networks: De-bleed was rebuilt to remove headphone bleed or instrument cross-bleed without requiring a reference track; Breath Control was rebuilt for higher-accuracy breath detection and removal; Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate received upgraded neural nets and new real-time plugin versions. The Repair Assistant (included in all editions) listens to audio, categorizes it, and suggests repair settings at light, medium, or aggressive intensity.

Ozone's Master Assistant, first introduced in Ozone 8 (2017) and most recently updated in Ozone 12 (released September 3, 2025), listens to a user's audio, analyzes it, and recommends a tailored signal chain. In Ozone 12, the Master Assistant gained a 'Custom Flow' mode allowing users to select genre profiles, set LUFS targets, choose specific processing modules, and define intensity before the AI builds the chain. New machine learning-powered modules in Ozone 12 include Bass Control (low-end shaping), the Unlimiter (restoring dynamics from over-compressed audio), and Stem EQ (applying EQ to separated vocals, bass, drums, and instruments within a stereo file). All three editions (Elements, Standard, Advanced) include the AI-powered Master Assistant.
