As part of its multiyear Google Cloud partnership, Levi's deployed Google Business Messages to handle customer inquiries. Google reported in 2025 that Levi's saw a 30% increase in off-hours shoppers and exceeded 85% customer satisfaction scores after implementation. The platform also generated 30 times more store-related questions than Levi's website chat had previously received.
Levi Strauss & Co. uses Google Cloud to give select employees permission-based access to AI-powered data dashboards that aggregate sales, marketing, and supply chain data from across 110 countries to identify emerging consumer trends and forecast product demand.
Built on Google Cloud tools including BigQuery, Looker, and Dataplex, the system provides real-time insights by consolidating data from 110 countries and 50,000 distribution points. Levi's has used this system to identify trends such as the return of baggy jeans among multiple demographics, enabling proactive inventory and product decisions. The multiyear Google Cloud partnership was highlighted in a January 2025 report, and the data dashboards are confirmed as an active internal tool. Levi's also used AI-driven demand forecasting as early as 2021, confirmed by then-CEO Chip Bergh.

Levi Strauss & Co. deployed an AI assistant called STITCH on a mobile app for store employees, allowing them to instantly look up product information, training materials, and operational procedures by asking questions in plain language.
STITCH was conceived at an internal company hackathon and built in partnership with Google Cloud using Gemini large language models. It gives store stylists and associates on-demand access to a database of operational documents, product details, and training content. The tool was piloted in 10 U.S. stores in late 2025, then deployed to 60+ stores by November 2025, with plans to expand to all U.S. stores and then globally in 2026. Levi's reported an eight-point improvement in consumer satisfaction at stores where employees had access to STITCH.
